ABOUT ME

IT professional and high distinction graduate from UTS with 5+ years of industry experience spanning enterprise technical support, implementation, consulting, and web development with a genuine passion for technology that extends well beyond the workplace.

Since April 2024, I have been working full-time at NCR Voyix as a Subject Matter Expert for Woolworths Group and their retail point-of-sale infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. Since then I have progressed to Service Desk Knowledge Management Lead, providing documentation, escalated technical guidance and mentorship to a Level 3 support team of thirty staff across the APAC region.

Outside of work and study, I have undertaken numerous projects ranging from architecting and administering a home server, to software development and repairing computer electronics.

I would describe myself to others as a creative, committed, honest, hardworking and loyal person who has excellent communication skills and attention to detail. I am someone who loves a challenge and who takes pride in my work and achievements.

I am currently seeking a technical role that will challenge my abilities and allow me to be hands-on in meaningful projects.

Summary of Technical Skills

Experience with Professional Applications 

Experienced in software ranging from creative applications, IT cloud-based administration software, ticket systems, website development applications and more. The complete list of software applications can be viewed on my resume.

Electronics Repair & Building Experience

Undertaken numerous electronics repairs, including laptops, video game controllers / consoles and even iPhones. I have also built and upgraded several computers and have performed data recovery and secure data destruction on digital storage devices.

Networking and Cybersecurity

Experience configuring Cisco networking equipment and advanced understanding of network design and topology. I am familiar with cybersecurity concepts and attacks and have experience practising cyber security to protect mobile devices as well as computers.

Operating System Experience

Experienced with numerous versions of Operating Systems for Windows, MacOS and Linux (including CLI). I also have in-depth experience modifying windows preinstall environments to meet organisation requirements.

Software
Development

Learning to program and deliver code-based solutions for the last ten years. During this time, I have become proficient in 15 different programming languages and have experience with several API services.

Other Technical Skills / Experience

Experienced in development methodologies such as Agile and continuous development (Dev Ops) methodologies. I am also experienced in managing users and other objects in Active Directory.

I have 8 years of combined experience, from working in retail stores and providing IT Support to users in my previous position. I am very experienced in providing a high standard of customer service to answer any questions or resolve any issues a person may be experiencing.

Experience

Acknowledged by peers and academics through university, where I have volunteered to lead group projects for various assignments. Additionally, I was a football referee for 5 years, where I was required to demonstrate leadership and assertiveness on the soccer field.

In addition to completing many successful project assignments throughout my studies at university, I have utilised teamwork skills in my previous positions as a means of collaboration to deliver a high standard of service or product.
